When Luluna Kombucha first launched, it wasn’t just a beverage—it was a movement. Sold in refillable jugs at local markets and fill stations, made with spring water and locally sourced botanicals, Luluna carved out a unique space for itself in the early days of conscious consumption in New England.

Studio Quiche partnered with Luluna over eight years ago to build a brand that honored this spirit of sustainability and reverence for nature. From the start, we knew the identity needed to do more than follow trends—it had to reflect the living, breathing ecosystem behind every bottle.

We created a media-agnostic brand identity inspired by the science of fermentation itself. Using microscope photography of kombucha scobies, we developed a textured “probiotic moon”—a symbol of the invisible forces at work inside each brew. This became the visual heartbeat of the brand.

Over time, as the company matured from a farmers market staple into a retail-ready product, the brand evolved. Studio Quiche remained a creative partner through this next phase of growth—ensuring the brand could adapt without compromising its roots.
