+ About Whetstone Workshop

Design that disappears. Craft that endures.

Some brands are meant to speak loudly. Others, like Whetstone Workshop, shine brightest in stillness.

With a portfolio spanning two decades of precision woodworking and quiet mastery, Whetstone didn’t need a rebrand that stole the show—they needed one that stepped aside. Studio Quiche focused on restraint, clarity, and respect for the work itself.

Founder Kristin Silva collaborated closely with artists Maria and Isaac to create a minimalist, bespoke web experience. The system was designed not to perform but to support—a structure that lets each piece breathe, drawing visitors into a focused, contemplative space.

Inspired by Swiss typographic principles and a deliberately muted palette of taupe and earth tones, the identity enhances the visual impact of the portfolio without ever competing with it. The brand choices invite a slower gaze—a closer look at the honesty and detail of each form.

Every component of the site, from its custom sequence logic to its typography, acts as an unobtrusive frame around Whetstone’s legacy.

A rebrand not about adding—but subtracting. Letting the work speak in its own language of patience, process, and perfection.
